Had a call today from some folks in AK...2hr interview with follow-up coming in the approaching weeks.
{$500 plane ticket, dry-cleaned suit, big ass smile, and proficiency with registrarial duties prescribed by larger museum type venues} could equal exedus from New York. New Pipe dream, you bet....already found a neighborhood close to the office, and a few places that serve king crab legs dirt cheap. (I don't eat seafood, so I'll have the Alaskan King Crab Leg platter, could you substitute elk for the crab please)

So how did the interview go? Do you have to go up there, or are they going to do another phone interview?
I'm waiting for a second phone interview, at which point I'll be able to gauge whether or not a trip to Anchorage is somehting that I should prep for. I can get a cheap flight, and basically if need be, pack all my belongings and be there outright in 4days, (similar to the Montana Move, but a bit further down the highway). I doubt it'll take long for the progression of things. They sound as though they want to create the position and get it up and running post haste.
